Hello everyone, and welcome to The Styled Scholar! I am overjoyed that you have found your way to my blog. The idea to start this page has been in the works for quite some time, and as you can tell, we have a long way to go.

The Styled Scholar is a place where “fashion forward” meets the reality of price point. While I enjoy watching videos about clothing hauls worth thousands of dollars as much as the next person, I realize that lifestyle is unrealistic for a college graduate with student debt and bills to pay. Because of this, I felt I could put my eye for style and bargains to the test and create a platform for fiscally responsible fashionistas to rejoice!

While The Styled Scholar is primarily a place for pretty pictures, fashion steals and shopping tips, I am hoping that this site can become much more! What I would like to see The Styled Scholar turn into is a place for everyone who has interest in some part of the fashion field. Are you into the chemistry of fabrics? Have you always wondered about the history of the corset? Are you talented in the craft of garment making?
